27% of staff would stay in job for 'tasty treats'

Over a quarter of employees (27%) would stay with their current employer if they offered ‘tasty treats.’ 

Research by Sage One also found that flexible working is highly desired by employees working in small businesses (41%).

Lisa Ewens, Category Manager at Sage One, is unsurprised by this finding: “Mobile working allows businesses to work across multiple devices from various locations, and offers the ease that comes with running your business outside of the standard 9-5. It means people can treat anywhere as their office and aren’t restricted by the confines of a traditional working environment or routine.”

The number one want is music (44%), with workers appearing to value a potential office Spotify playlist above all else. Closely behind was having a chat with colleagues (40%).
