Tech company boosts diversity by recruiting non-IT grads

A technology company has found a way to widen its talent pool and improve its diversity levels.

While other STEM companies struggle to boost their diversity, TheTestPeople has found one simple way to attract more diverse talent to its company.

Sarah Tulip is the Head of Talent Acquisition at TheTestPeople. She tells Recruitment Grapevine: “We wanted to widen our talent pool and stop fishing in the same waters and getting the same type of undergraduates.

“So we have started to say that anyone with any type of degree is welcome. As long as they have achieved a 2:1 level, then we’d look at them no matter what degree they have.
