Short breaks force ASOS staff to urinate in water fountain

Employees at ASOS are so over-worked they don’t even have time to go to the toilet.

GMB - “Britain’s General Union” – asserts that workers at the distribution centre in Barnsley, are so tightly regulated that they do not have time to take the ’15 minute round trip’ to the restroom.

ASOS says that toilets are available within four minutes of every point in the warehouse. Visits to the lavatory are not restricted to break time either, and staff can go whenever they wish.

A Spokesman continues: “ASOS have instructed XPO to look into the matters the GMB has raised as a matter of urgency and should anything need to be addressed, it will be swiftly.”
