What do you think is the key to being a successful Head of HR?
Balancing the need to deliver day-to-day activity, whilst also having an eye on the future, is crucial to ensure that those responsible for leading the employment relationship maintain an awareness of the ever-changing landscape.
It is also vital to understand the business that you work for and the industry in which you operate, identifying changing patterns and trends and working closely with leaders and their teams to identify and deliver improvements for both our people and customers. Whilst we will always be experts in looking after the employment relationship, keeping up to speed with the way the business operates is of equal importance as it is ultimately results and outcomes that we are all measured against.
