Factory worker made fake bomb threat to get himself fired

An employee in a Vermont (USA) chocolate factory called in a bomb threat because he hated his job so much.

Police say that Kristofer Pregent stole a colleague’s mobile phone and made the accusation under another workers name.

The phone was then discarded into a toilet tank in an effort to break it.

At first, he informed the police that he was the recipient of a bomb threat, before retracting that and saying it didn’t happen.
