A recent job description for a Google employee has both confused and entertained the world over, when the news went viral this week.
Chade-Meng Tan, a former engineer at Google and now semi-retired, lists his official job title as “Jolly Good Fellow (Which nobody can deny).” Meng is one of the internet giants earliest employees, having worked on Google’s first mobile search service and headed their quality services department.
Now, after some considerable years at the company, Meng has taken a more philosophical route to retirement, and is now their official personal and spiritual development guru.
And his Jolly Good Fellow title is no joke. “Fellow” is the acronym given to distinguished employees at Google, whilst “Jolly Good” is exactly how he makes people feel.
