Netflix CEO asked Board to fire him twice

The Netflix CEO and Co-Founder asked his board to fire him twice for the same reason. Reed Hastings revealed why during a recent interview.

Today, Netflix is dominating the online streaming industry. But before Hastings co-founded the company in 1997, he had another business named Pure Software.

“It was an amazing adventure, because I never set out to be a CEO,” Hastings said during at a workshop at Kleiner Perkins.
