HR lessons from the Rugby World Cup

HR professionals can learn a lot from the world of rugby. One of which is to deal with surprises.  

The Rugby World Cup's opening weekend has already thrown up one of the shocks of the tournament – Japan's 34-32 victory over South Africa - as well as seen England record their first victory.  

With such shocks occurring so early on, it is truly unknown what else this tournament will have in store, but there are certainly some HR lessons from years gone by.
