Head of People Development promoted to Director of People Development at Specsavers

Specsavers new Director of People Development has only been at the company for nine months.

Gill Palfrey-Hill will be responsible for: “leading the UK L&D team to design & deliver people development solutions in support of the business strategy… [and] … leading the Global L&D teams to create and execute an international learning technology strategy and senior leadership development programmes.”

Her previous employers were B&Q, who she joined in 1999 as a Divisional Training Advisor.

She has also worked for Allied Domecq, Thomas Cook, and Swallow Hotels.
