Yahoo CEO Marissa Mayer to work through pregnancy

Marissa Mayer, CEO of Yahoo, has announced she is expecting twins but plans to work throughout her pregnancy.

This is reflective of her first pregnancy with husband Zack Bogue three years ago. Mayer started her role at the company when she was five months pregnant.

She then returned from maternity leave just two weeks after giving birth - albeit with a nursery built next to her office and a full-time nanny.

In a post on Yahoo’s Tumblr she says: “Since my pregnancy has been healthy and uncomplicated and since this is a unique time in Yahoo’s transformation, I plan to approach the pregnancy and delivery as I did with my son three years ago, taking limited time away and working throughout.
