The Apprentice producers on hunt for Donald Trump replacement

The Apprentice show producers are looking to hire a replacement to Donald Trump for the American series.

Despite cutting ties with Trump, they are still going ahead with the 15th season as planned.

Names that have been approached include Virgin Group founder Richard Branson, LA Dodgers co-owner Magic Johnson, and Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban. There is a large remuneration package on offer for the selected candidate.

In July 2015, Trump reported his pay as $213,606,575 for the 14 seasons of the show. Working out at approximately $3million per show, it has made him one of the highest paid personalities on TV, making it difficult to draw in a replacement willing to receive less. He revealed this in his personal financial disclosure statement.
