Jobseeking graduate selling diploma on eBay after 4 years unemployed

A frustrated graduate is selling her college diploma for $50,000 (£32,497) on eBay.

After failing to find a job for four years, Stephanie Ritter is advertising her Bachelor’s degree from Florida State University (FSU).

Currently $40,000 in debt, the 26 year-old is living in Southern California and has listed the diploma to cover her university costs. Despite having a degree, she has been unable to find a job in her field.

Hoping to ‘validate my use of time between 2007-2011’, she is selling her ‘authentic FSU experience’. Offering more than just the college diploma, the listing explains that the buyer will be given a tour of the campus and will have access to her memories on Facebook for six months. The tour will include anywhere that students would have gone to eat or party and a ticket to a show at the FSU School of Theatre. More importantly, she’ll also pay the shipping charges.
