What do you think is the key to being a successful HR Director?

Really understanding your business and how it operates is a first for me; getting underneath the skin of what your business needs, and then putting together a strategy to support the business goals. Being a credible and trusted HRD is key to the influence that you can have within the business.

Living and breathing a culture of trust, however being very action driven, so people understand when you say you are going to do something, you don’t let them down.
