New Barclays Chairman orders company car overhaul to improve Feng Shui

John McFarlane, the new Chairman of Barclays, has ditched the bank’s black limousines in favour of silver vehicles, indulging his passion for Feng Shui.

McFarlane has made a number of sweeping changes since taking on the role most notably sacking CEO Antony Jenkins before making headlines again after he banned flip-flops and jeans from the company’s headquarters.

Now, according to Sky News McFarlane’s belief in the Chinese philosophy system has led to the switch to silver or grey vehicles for top executives, in order to improve the harmony of those using them.

A person close to the company claimed that while Barclays renewed the lease on executive cars regularly, a pooled fleet allowed the bank to order an entirely silver set to meet its Chairman's wishes.
