STATS Group appoint HR Director

STATS Group, a specialist pipeline engineering firm, have hired a QHSE and HR Director.

Derek Smart was previously a HR and QTSE Manager. He joined the company in July 2006 as a QHSE Manager.

He has also worked at International Paper for six years.  

STATS Group CEO Pete Duguid said: "Derek … will be responsible for delivering a common approach across all our international bases in quality, health and safety and HR functions and the commercial management.
