Airport worker dismissed for changing colleague's screensaver

An airport employee has been fired after reportedly changing a colleague’s screensaver to a picture of a witch.

Alicja Derwich, a former baggage handler at Biggin Hill Airport in Kent, claimed the incident began when her former friend and co-worker Miss Sophie King, unfriended her on Facebook. King had recently been promoted and had made the decision to sever social media ties with her former colleagues.

Derwich is then accused of having begun a tirade against her, with another member of staff admitting that Derwich bullied King, making obscene gestures behind her back.

When King’s computer was left unattended, Derwich took it upon herself to search for photos and images using the terms 'witch', 'middle finger', 'one finger death punch' as well as other far more abhorrent references.
