Labmans office sounds like something out of Silicon Valley, not Seamer, near Stokesley, North Yorkshire.
At the office, staff can take breaks by playing a game of table tennis or pool, or they can work out by scaling the full-size climbing wall. If staff want to leave the confines of the office, they can race around the go-kart track or fly remote control helicopters.
Employees seeking less strenuous entertainment can play on the company PlayStation or watch TV.
Managing Director Andrew Whitwell is personally fond of taking the fireman’s pole to the ground floor: “It’s an enjoyable way to travel and it’s quicker than the stairs.”
