In the 80’s, writing useless, peculiar information on to a CV appeared to be the trend. Today, it doesn’t seem as favourable.

With the arrival of professional networking site, LinkedIn, it seems that writing about out-of-office hobbies is no longer deemed acceptable by recruiters.

Yet recruitment firms in the City are still seeing people write about their love of sky-diving, ninja practice and even alpaca farming on their CVs.
