BT staff are set to profit from an employee share scheme, with some workers receiving more than £50,000 each.
Over 23,000 employees who bought into a £265million share scheme over the course of five years are now able to purchase valuable BT stock at a fraction of the market price. Workers were able to save between £5 and £250 a month with staff now free to purchase shares at the price they were when they started the venture five years previously.
