New Group HR Head joins BTG Pactual

The Sao Paulo based global financial firm have appointed Zurich Insurance Group’s Global Human Resources Head to take over as Group HR Head.

Mauro Ghilardi will make his move to the Brazilian bank in a couple of weeks’ time.

Ghilardi has been working in HR since 1989, meaning BTG Pactual will have an experienced man joining their team.

Speaking to HR Grapevine, Ghilardi said: “I'm truly delighted to have been given this opportunity to further professionalise and perfect the HR functions for BTG Pactual. We have reached a size group wide where we need to ensure our hands-on approach is not preventing further growth on the people agenda, and I’m confident the firm's partnership is supporting this step change and will help me and my team in achieving our goals.”
