Adecco's graduate CEO completes month long tenure

A graduate is finishing her one-month tenure as CEO of Adecco UK & Ireland on Friday, after winning the company's 'CEO for One Month’ competition'.

Claire Houston, who has a degree in Communication and Public Relations from Ulster University, is one of 34 young candidates who won the competition in their native countries. In all, 18,000 people had entered the competition.

Speaking exclusively to Recruitment Grapevine, Houston reveals that she loved her tenure as CEO.

She says: “I can’t believe my month is now over, but I’ve loved every second of it and possibly for the first time ever will be truly sorry to be leaving the office at 5.30pm on a Friday afternoon.
