Facebook has shared the training it gives staff to help them recognise and combat unconscious bias.
COO Sheryl Sandberg shared the social media company’s approach in a blog post yesterday after requests from people outside the business.
Sandberg explained the advantage gained through hiring a diverse team: “Diversity is central to Facebook’s mission of creating a more open and connected world.
“To reflect the diversity of the 1.4 billion people using our products, we need to have people with different backgrounds, races, genders and points of view working at Facebook.
