NHS boss suspended Head of HR after she rejected his advances

A married NHS Head of HR was labelled a whore by a boss after she turned down his advances, an employment tribunal heard.

Helen Marks of Derbyshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust was bombarded with derogatory texts messages by her former boss Alan Baines.

Health watchdogs have now launched an investigation into the organisation, after the publication of the report from the tribunal, which took place in 2012. Chief Executive, Prof Steve Trenchard, has been suspended.

The report states that Baines and the married Marks started as friends, scheduling lunch meetings and confiding in each other.
