Demand for senior executives increases

The demand for senior executives has surged in the past six months and indicates an upcoming need for middle and junior managers.

The executive search firm InterExec’s latest statistics show that the number of unadvertised senior executive vacancies jumped by 16% in the first six months of 2015.

There were 1,931 unadvertised senior executive vacancies in the last six months of 2014. That number increased to 2,254 in the first six months of 2015.

Kit Scott-Brown is the Managing Director and founder of InterExec. Speaking exclusively to Recruitment Grapevine, he says that the demand for senior executives "is a remarkably accurate guide as to corporate intentions, which tend to be reflected in middle to junior level recruitment some six and 12 months later.”
