Tony Hsieh, the CEO of Zappos, lives in an Airstream trailer after giving up a 23rd floor luxury apartment. The American entrepreneur has a net worth of $820 million but has opted for the simple life by living in a 200 square foot caravan in Las Vegas trailer park.
The 2013 model named LLamapolis, retails for around $48,000. It is fitted with high-tech appliances and a sleek design.
According to the Las Vegas Review Journal, Hsieh admires the location of his new home. “I see my neighbours a lot more now than I did when living in a house in the suburbs or living in an apartment building,” he said.
Each night there is a movie projected at the park and a bonfire which allows residents to gather. He described the lifestyle as an "urban camping experience with everyone sharing the world's largest living room."
