How will artificial intelligence affect HR?

A common concern is that artificial intelligence (AI) will eventually replace us all, no matter our position in the workplace.

Martijn Gribnau, Chief Change Officer at IPsoft, thinks this is not the case. ‘Replace’ should be substituted with ‘shift.’

He says that the implementation of AI will allow HR to focus on “more analytical, value-adding roles,” while the boring, repetitive tasks become a thing of the past.

“The challenge is for us to embrace the new art of the possible and leverage technology to evolve our thinking and our skills. Major steps forward take place each time we witness significant technological progress,” says Gribnau, “The one element that remains consistent is the need to outsmart your competition by exploiting technology to the maximum.”
