SeaWorld HR employee suspended for infiltrating animal rights group

A member of SeaWorld’s HR team has been suspended after allegations surfaced that he had infiltrated an animal rights group in order to undermine their work.

People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (Peta) claim that the American theme park posted an employee to pose as an activist and take part in protests and meetings.

Peta say that a man claiming to be called Thomas Jones is actually Paul McComb, a Human Resources employee at SeaWorld.

Joel Manby, Chief Executive of SeaWorld Entertainment, said: “These allegations, if true, are not consistent with the values of the SeaWorld organization and will not be tolerated.
