Chinese company demands employees seek permission to get pregnant

A credit co-operative in China has demanded that employees seek permission before they get pregnant.

Employees who do not gain permission before becoming pregnant will face a fine.

A screenshot published by Dahe News read: "Only married female workers who have worked for the company for more than one year can apply for a place on the birth planning schedule.

“An employee birth plan has been established and will be strictly enforced.
