Hospital CEO quits due to 'bullying culture'

The CEO of Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital has stood down from her position following a report that criticised its ‘bullying culture.’

The announcement came hours after over 150 consultants met with Chairman John Fry to raise concerns about the issues that featured in a report by The Care Quality Commission (CQC), principally bullying.

The CQC turned up unannounced March 4th 2015, and carried out a three day inspection.

The resulting report rose concerns around “a disconnection between staff and the leadership team.”
