Hollywood actress Rose McGowan fired after flagging sexist casting call

Rose McGowan has been dropped by her acting agency after speaking out about misogyny in Hollywood.

The actress tweeted a note attached to a casting call, detailing the requirements for the hopeful girls auditioning.

It read: “Please make sure to read the attached script before coming in so you understand the context of the scenes. Wardrobe: Black (or dark) form fitting tank that shows off cleavage (push up bras encouraged). And form fitting leggings. Nothing white.”

McGowan also insinuated that the script was for an upcoming movie starring Adam Sandler. A few days later, McGowan again took Twitter to announce that she had been fired by her agency over her taking issue with the sexist remarks.
