Network Rail bosses face slashed bonuses after poor performance

Underperforming bosses at Network Rail could be losing bonuses of up to £66,000 each, it has been reported.

According to The Daily Mail, the company is making efforts to divert away continuing criticism, with bonuses of up to 16% being cut. Network Rail is due to publish its annual report today, which should outline the details.

“They will not get a single penny more,” said one insider. Earlier this year CEO Mark Carnie vowed not to take his bonus.

The fate of bonuses for the remaining 35,000 employees is still unclear.
