What skills can returners bring to work that others may not have?

At Lloyds Banking Group we believe that having diversity amongst our colleagues brings about richness of thought which leads to better business decisions. Returners, individuals who previously held senior management roles but have been out of the workplace for between two and ten years, bring both a wealth of previous experience and a fresh perspective. Time away from a career gives you a different outlook, which often puts you at a unique position in a business. It’s always good to have someone question why things are done a certain way, and Returners bring another viewpoint.
