Capital One staff buzzing as office roof transforms into bee sanctuary

There’s buzz in the air at the Capital One offices as the credit card company plays host to 160,000 bees.

The roof of credit card company’s HQ in Nottingham now hosts one of mankind’s more essential friends.

The company recently retained Great Place To Work’s Best Workplace award for a third year, with corporate-social responsibility playing a key part in staff engagement. Staff will now have the chance to play beekeeper to the company’s latest assets.

As a member of Capital One’s green team, Stephen Goad says the organisation has challenged itself to play an active role in ensuring the survival of the honey bee.
