Match.com hires international dater

Leading online dating platform, Match.com, has hired a “date explorer” to travel the world in an effort to learn more about dating cultures in five major international cities.

Professional blogger, and dating enthusiast, Laila Swann has been selected from over 750 applicants for a “once-in-a-life time opportunity” to journey to the likes of New York, Paris and Brazil going on several dates and talking to experts and fellow singletons along the way.

Swann is no stranger to travel, having to fly at least twice a month to report for her fashion and lifestyle blog, LailaLoves.co.uk, which has gained her over 270,000 followers on Twitter, 76,000 on Instagram and more than two million views on her YouTube channel.

She claims: “I’ve been busy preparing myself for the job of a lifetime. There’s something refreshing about meeting new people from different cultures and backgrounds and finding out what makes them tick. I can’t wait to bring all my findings back.”
