Align executive pay rises with workforces, says top investor

Executive pay rises should be in line with that of the general workforce, according to a top UK investor.

Legal & General Investment Management also encouraged greater transparently from companies when explaining how executive performance measures that drive pay also drive their long term strategy.

In a blog post last week Sacha Sadan, Director of Corporate Governance, Legal & General, said: “The high levels of executive pay, quite rightly, remain a burning issue with the media and the British public.
