
The manufacturing sector is falling behind all other industries when it comes to leadership quality, according to research carried out by global talent management consultancy DDI and The Conference Board.
Drawing on responses from 3,143 leaders and 332 HR executives in manufacturing organisations, just 37% of their current leaders, and a poor 16% of their future leaders, were considered to be of a high quality.
