
Shareholders of online auction company ebay have voted against the release of infromation on the company's pay gaps when it comes to gender.
The vote came after Arjuna Capital filed a proposal for eBay to report on the company’s policies and goals to reduce any gender pay gap, following active work against gender pay gaps in the tech industry
However the proposal was largely voted against; with just under 68million votes for and over 735million votes against, following eBay’s company board recommending that the proposal not go ahead.
