
Prime Minister, David Cameron increases diversity within the Cabinet today as he announces the new line-up following his reshuffle. Almost a third (5 out of 16 members) of the Cabinet's senior ministerial team now comprises of women.
Joining the Cabinet today is former junior Treasury Minister, Priti Patel who has been appointed Employment Minister, and Amber Rudd is now the new Energy & Climate Change Secretary.
Patel and Rudd will join Baroness Tina Stowell, who stays on as Leader of the House of Lords and Lord Privy Seal, but with full cabinet status and Nicky Morgan who continues in her dual role of Education Secretary and Minister for Women and Equalities.
