Forget London: these are the best UK cities for tech jobs

Tech companies looking to beat the competition for highly sought-after IT workers could benefit from venturing outside of London.

The amount of technology jobs advertised between January and March increased by nine per cent from the previous quarter, with 59,151 positions available, while there was an 18% increase in permanent roles.

Although seven in 10 of these jobs are in London, several major cities in the UK have experienced stronger growth than the capital, according to the Tech Cities Job Watch Report from the recruitment firm, Experis.
