Tall people earn more, says study

Taller people will inevitably earn more than shorter people, says new US study.

According to research by Ohio State University, it is estimated that a 6ft tall person is likely to earn £100,000 more over a 30-year career than someone who is 5ft 4in.

Researchers insist that the ‘height premium’ in employment isn’t due to an unconscious favouring of taller people but by the fact that they have higher intelligence and greater social skills.
