Facebook COO blasts treatment of women in the workforce

Sheryl Sandberg, Chief Operating Officer of Facebook, has spoken out about misogyny in the workplace.

In a recent interview with Emily Chang on Bloomberg Television, Sandberg claimed that as women become more powerful in a business they become less likeable. This is due to a women’s success and likability being “negatively correlated” says the controversial Lean In author.

Discussing the issues with Richard Branson, she stated that ‘What’s happening is we have systematic stereotypes of women, and systematic biases of women.”
