Former American Apparel CFO accused of conspiring against Founder

The former Chief Financial Officer of American Apparel has been accused of scheming to oust founder, Dov Charney, last year as part of a plan to sell the company.

The revelation came from former Senior Manager David Nisenbaum, who was filing a new lawsuit against the company.

Nisenbaum was hired as Director of Manufacturing Accounting Analysis and Audit at American Apparel in late 2012 and fired in June 2014.
