Tesco planes go in executive bonus shake-up

It has been a financially disastrous year for Tesco following a £263million accounting scandal which saw nine top executives suspended.

And in a bonus revamp the supermarket giant is now set to sell the last of their fleet of jets used to fly bosses across the globe in style.

New CEO, Dave Lewis admits that the planes give the wrong impression and has put them up for sale. He says: “The aircraft have not been used by Tesco since December. In future we will use chartered aircraft only if there is a compelling business justification and travel cannot be completed by scheduled airline.”
