
Former MG Rover staff could receive a payout, ten years since the car manufacturer collapsed, as administrators try to recover £56million in overpaid VAT.
Ex-employees could receive around £300 each should PwC successfully claim back VAT it says was charged incorrectly on vehicle sales from the 1970s until the 90s.
The company ceased production of cars a decade ago before going into liquidation less than a year later, with 6,000 employees losing their jobs.
