Pay rise for Royal Mail Chief Executive

Royal Mail board plans to increase salary for Chief Executive, Moya Greene, for the first time since joining the company, it has been to reported.

Although the increased amount hasn’t been directly confirmed it has been revealed that Greene will ‘likely’ receive an estimated five per cent rise of her current £498,000 base salary, and the boost will be made before publication of the company’s annual report, according to Sky News

Greene, who previously ran Canadian postal service Canada Post, has a good reputation of performance, notably during the ongoing restructuring of the company and through its recent privatisation in 2013.
