Flickr & Slack founder Stewart Butterfield to earn more than he is 'entitled to'

Having co-founded Flickr and new $2bn message sharing app Slack Stewart Butterfield would be forgiven for thinking he has earned his money. However, in a new interview the Canadian entrepreneur has admitted to feeling that he doesn’t deserve his reward.

Speaking to Inc. Butterfield said: “I'm going to end up with a lot more money than I feel like I'm entitled to given how hard I work.”

Butterfield claimed that he was fortunate to have all the right ingredients in place for him to be in the position he is now – and he doesn’t just mean “luck and timing”.
