
If you’re lucky enough to be hired by nanosatellite and data start-up Spire, the chances are that you will never be fired.
Speaking to The Guardian, Peter Platzer said: “We as a company will never give up on you. It’s kind of like US Army rules: no man left behind.”
It’s an audacious business attitude to hold, but Platzer believes it will attract the top scientific talent that his company requires in a market that appears to be constantly short on specific skills, “We are a data analysis company, and that means that my single most scarce resource [is] people that can do something useful with data.”
