Google's new CFO to get $70 million pay packet

Ruth Porat, the new Chief Financial Officer at Google is to be paid a salary of $70million, according to a filings with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

Last week Google announced that Porat would be taking over from Patrick Pichette as CFO and while her salary of $650,000 may be smaller with her new employer than the $1million she was previously earning, she will be far from out of pocket.

The filings show that the former CFO of Morgan Stanley received a $70million cash and stock deal from Google, CNN report.
