1/6 would leave job if forced to work with driverless vehicles

One in six professional drivers would leave their jobs if forced to work with driverless cars, according to a survey.

The research follows the recent report concerning the technical advancement of driverless cars predicted to be fully operational in the UK by 2030.

Conducted by Masternaut, pan-European provider of fleet telematics solutions, and involving 2,000 professional UK drivers, the results revealed that 15% of professional drivers say they would change jobs if they were required to work with driverless vehicles.
