One in three don't believe bosses care about their health

A third of employees don’t believe that their bosses care about their health and wellbeing, a new survey has suggested.

The research from ToHealth revealed that while over half the employees surveyed believed their employers should have some concern for their workers’ health and wellbeing, 30% do not believe that their current employer does.

And while 55% of staff were not offered any kind of private health insurance as part of their benefits package, the survey, carried out in conjunction with YouGov showed that there was strong interest for it, with 59% of employees keen to attend a 30 minute health check.
